Kenya's War in Somalia: How Should Fallen Soldiers Be Treated?
« on: September 02, 2014, 08:04:19 PM »
I have yet to see a single dead soldier brought down from a plane in a coffin draped in the Kenyan flag; Carried by his peers to a pedestal where his body is saluted by the CIC to the blow of the trumpet; Lifted and transported home to be buried with a 21 Gun salute.

How are these fallen victims being interred?

Anybody? Panzer?

I also find it strange that fallen heroes are yet to be honored. We will end up with a new Mau Mau veteran issue.

My problem is immediate: Why are they being buried in secret? Politicians don't even attend the funerals. In country where funerals are political rallies, how come there is not ONE funeral where a politician has featured and the media has carried it???
