Nice images.
Let us be frank. LAPPSET is as good as dead. Ethiopia has opted to go through Djibouti and S. Sudan is good as a non starter nation. Oil prices are down and nobody will invest in oil projects in the next 5 years.

I think oil pipeline and railway are not feasible for now. But the port and road connecting Lamu to Garissa to Meru to Moyale--and maybe to turkana-- make economic sense.

The road should be built but a railway will not work without Ethiopia and S. Sudan. How will Kenya alone finance it? We already have enoough in our hands with SGR from Mombasa to Nairobi.

Yes in the medium term..it make no sense. Galana-Kulalu is another one facing head winds. And so is Konza city. Good to dream and be ambitious as a country though.

As China adjusts there are hard pills to be swallowed.
Some projects will have to be called back or cancelled.
Ethiopia will be a good player.
Tanzania will benefit from strong governance.
Rwanda wil be neutral, so will Kenya, and Uganda.
Sudan and Burundi  a dud!

If Uhuru goes forward, then the interest rates on this project will be astronomical.
