The UN, pope and climate change
« on: October 01, 2015, 11:30:20 AM »
Not surprisingly, the forum is quiet about one of the greatest events of 2015. For the first time, a pope addressed a joint US Congress and visited the White House and the UN. All in one tour. The icing on the cake was the opening address to the 70th UN General Assembly with the Vatican flag flying in the air also for the first time. Is it possible that the 2015 General Assembly was the turning point of world new relations? Did a pope fly all the way to Turtle Bay to kick off the UN's Sustainable Development Goals? Is there more to the relationship between the Vatican, and the UN that the eye can see? Is the US only playing the role of host-cum-MC? Does the Bible say anything about this trinity of powerful world institutions? Surprisingly, yes. Let's begin with the last book of the Bible.

Revelation 13 King James Version (KJV)

Quote
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.....

11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Brothers and sisters, momentous events are fulfilling Bible prophecy as we watch. Are you willing to open your eyes?

DB,

I am waiting to hear what Ben Carson has to say on the subject before making up my mind.  He has shown uncharacteristic restraint about a pope who does not advocate the bombing of migrants hiding in caves in Mexico.

Sarcasm aside, might your patience be motivated by his latest ratings despite ruling him out even before proper debates began?

The papacy has no power in the new world order. Not even the world's elite military divisions, public arms, world govts can keep up with the exponential chaos caused by science, technology etc. by private entities and young people. The new soldier is a pubescent teen who can hack main frames. When IoT flourishes noone will be safe.

We went to see the pope at the "Papal Mass" in Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia.  My wife is a Catholic devotee . I will post photos once I upload pics from my iPhone
