I figured out what's wrong with it. The proportions are off. The heads are too big and the figures should be at least twice as big. They look like a pair of midgets with unusually large comical heads. Their positions aren't patriotic either.
Their features aren't Kenyan. Looks like Pacific Islander. I'm wondering whether they hired a Chinese artist. Looks like a lion statue maker (like those Chinese lion statues with the big heads, dancing puppets etc.) who has never been to Kenya.
