The crucial point to this whole operation is that the commercial banks themselves are the ones to forward the information to the CBK. If they don't forward anything, there will be nothing to forward to the Americans.

The US already has access to Kenya's monetary system. CBK etc. lose millions of KSh a week to hackers most likely USA affiliated. Giving access is a privacy violation. I'm wondering whether the US have already found stuff and are using this to make legit catching terrorists.

They might as well outsource the EACC functions too.  And DPP office functions while at it.

That won't be a bad idea coz we have failed. We should not be afraid to tap the west where their expertise is required. But we should also be ready to resist their bullying tactis...and any nefarious schemes.
