This is ridiculous. Worse than spam because they have this tactic where they make you a profile and therefore you need to sign in to unsubscribe. From hotshot to predatory journals they step over personal space fck off! and must have no clue about consumer rights.
I don't even understand why academic journals exist in this day and age of broadband and repositories. Preprint, you stoners! This is why I hate academics. They've collectively become a menace to society by coming up with rubbish. They waste tax payers money and threaten forward thinkers.
I hope govt policies figure out a way to make them go away. Resources better spent on empowering the next generation on humanitarian based knowledge+ thinking. What do today's academics do? I've been to so many talks and have been thoroughly disappointed. Are these people thinkers or truly just wankers?
