I spent 9 hours online waiting for administrative confirmation of grant on my dad's estate . The confirmation was supposed to have been Feb 5th, then when we logged in to court we were rudely told that rhe judge had gone for training. The calendar aka cause list just got updated that morning. Today was make up day. The court spent 3 hours hearing criminal and other civil matters. After that it moved to succession matter. We got called and then within 2 minutes the court said they have set aside the file for further direction. We waited online. At around 3pm the court feed went black. We thought the judge had taken a lunch break. The feed never came back. My lawyer called the clerk's office he was told they lost internet connection to wait further direction. At 4.14 pm kenya time the court switched fheir phone off and became unreachable. 44 people online were left unattended no message on what next nothing. Kenya is fucking circus. I am about to abandon that petition and deal with this matter internally.
Anyway another thing I noticed is that the court has so many cases in a day to dispense quality service. In addition kenyan lawyers are lazy mathafakas.mmost just asked for more time to respond to petitions. How the fuck do you even waste time in a court that is backlogged with vases
