When and where did Raila die?
« on: October 26, 2025, 02:47:17 PM »
I don't seem understand this things.we shall know in coming days.Lots of conspiracy theories going on online. When did he die?Was he in ICU or not because Ruth odinga and Winnie odinga said different things?

Some of the videos being posted online make me very curious.some videos on social m3dia say he was taken to lee others kasarani I dont get it.

Ooh ICU,Ooh he collapsed while walking,Ooh he died I don't know on October 4th GSU at Lee funeral then Kalonzo on October 10th asks who is dead Oburu says he is sick Ida says he is fine Karua says he was very sick some claim to have spoken to him a day before he died Which is which? When did he go to India?

Anyway it's none of my business but I'd just wonder.

WHICH IS WHICH...I am not suggesting anything I am just lost in this whole saga.

He had a complicated situation.
Diabetes, kidney problem, hematoma in the brain, a clot in the vein/varicose veins.
The doctors couldn’t easily treat it — you need blood thinners, but that’s risky when you’ve had a brain clot and weak kidneys.
So doctors in Dubai and Germany everywhere told him - it was too risky to operate him.
At this point - you're waiting for clot to travel to heart and cause cardiac arrest.
So his option was miti shamba - either Chinese or India.
He was in India for Ayurvedic and general medical treatment.
In the end, it was cardiac arrest.

I ask gemini.

Mr. Raila Odinga was managing several severe, pre-existing health conditions simultaneously:

Diabetes

Chronic Kidney Disease

A recent Subdural Hematoma (a bleed/clot on the brain)

A history of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) (a blood clot in a vein)

Why He Sought Alternative Treatment
Your analysis of the situation is correct. The combination of these illnesses created an extremely high-risk medical paradox that complicated conventional treatment.

The "Catch-22":

The Clot Risk: The Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) posed a significant, immediate threat. The standard procedure for this is to use blood thinners (anticoagulants) to dissolve the clot and prevent it from traveling to the heart or lungs (which can cause a fatal cardiac arrest or pulmonary embolism).

The Bleeding Risk: However, Mr. Odinga also had a subdural hematoma. Using blood thinners in a patient with a recent brain bleed is extremely dangerous, as it can prevent the brain bleed from healing and potentially cause catastrophic, fatal bleeding in the brain.

The Complication: His chronic kidney disease further complicated matters, as failing kidneys struggle to filter and process medications, making the administration of powerful drugs (like anticoagulants) even more difficult to manage safely.

Faced with this dilemma—where the standard treatment for one life-threatening condition (the DVT) was a direct contraindication for another (the brain hematoma)—conventional doctors reportedly deemed aggressive intervention or surgery too risky.

He therefore sought alternative and wellness treatments (miti shamba, as you referred to it), ultimately choosing Ayurvedic therapy in India, to manage his overall health and symptoms when conventional options were exhausted.

Tragically, the initial fear materialized, and he passed away from a cardiac arrest, which reports link to complications from the blood clot.

In short - he got a DVT - which needed immediate attention - flown to Dubai - where he sort advice in two hospital branches - of big hospitals - and they told him - too risky - he choose to try alternative treatment - miti shamba had helped her daughter heal the eyes - and so off he went to india. He was also thinking chinese.

In short he was a dead man walking rejected by conventional hospitals and waiting for the clot to travel to his heart and kill him

Avoid AI copy pasting.

There are DVT/BLOOD clotting medicines available even on Tom mboya street. Its something normal.Once the clot crosses the waist,You are DEAD within minutes.I think the issue was beyond DVT .

I think Raila health deteriorated this year when the limping slowly exverbated.

So the people who sent him to India Miti shamba hospital knew he couldn't survive? What state was he in?If he was in a good state when seeking treatment abroad,Why did he not at any single point address the media?Could his specialist medical advisor Olunya have advised his critically ill patient to substitute scientific medicine for mitishamba in a life and death situation?

Is there a record of an air ambulance at JKIA from October 3rd when he last posted on Facebook?

Why was there no body viewing for the Kenyan delegation who went to pick his body in India?

I don't see his doctor would have allowed Raila to substitute normal medicine with miti shamba to treat blood clots.Thats death within seconds.

I remember the doctor explaining to us how it killed my aunt in minutes when it crossed the waist. You cannot even risk putting such a patient on an air ambulance or normal flight exceeding an hour.

October 10th-Babu owino who had joined Wiper a week or two ago failed to attend the presidential launch of his party leader Kalonzo at Uhuru park,He was watching it from Kilimani using binoculars. How strange could that have been?On the same day,Kalonzo asked why is the flag st half mast?Who has died?

Between October 4th-10th there is a lot of conflicting information amongst the family,ODM,Raila friends, social media,Gachagua and Raila close confidant Caroli Omondi tells us to pray for Raila who is critically ill but throughout that period Raila says nothing. He doesn't sent even a photo or video to calm the nation.

My mind is just curious.May he rest in peace.

So long as he died of natural causes the details are not important.

RIP Baba.

RIP Baba.

Did you see his supporters on the streets countrywide on announcement of his death?

Information regarding his death or the narrative had to be monitored due to the political situation of the country.

On the week before announcement we saw SK macharia who owns royal media assure Raila supporters he was okay,We also saw Gideon Moi who owns the standard which has a big influence on kenyan political situation join the government. In the age of social media, you dont want misinformation on such political events although the cause of death is natural.

You can therefore see,All these people knew something we didn't know like baba was critically sick.

What part don't you understand that he couldn't use blood thinners to treat dvt due to other issues. So people knew he was dying if no miracle happens
