Airlines nowadays care about money more than anything,The plane doesn't stop,Its always on the move.I remember boarding an ethiopian airline,It was 30 minuted late, when it arrived,it first had to be 'serviced' and then in one of the stopovers, even before the luggage was properly set and people had settled, the plane was almost about to taxi.

On the same plane, the video screen wasnt working, the broken seat and when i looked at the wings,i could see rust covered by simple paint patches.

There is alot of carelessness and lack of proper safety procedures especially on airlines flying across Asia and Africa.

The pilots and flight engineers are overworked,They live in hotels across  the world. If not in a hotel,he or she is in a plane flying an overworked machine.

Air India-overworked machine + Overworked/Unqualified pilots + Overworked engineers + Don't question the management  =Mass murder.

Crazy shit.

That's gross exaggeration. Boeing has quality control problems that is the main issue. That was the verdict in previous crashes not exhausted airline crews.

What did i exaggerate? If you are a regular flyer,You very well know that:

1) An airplane pilot & maintenance crew especially etihad ethiopian asian or indian air which i use on a regular basis live in Hotels.Once you land a plane after 14 hours,You take a rest in a hotel for a few hours, then new crew takes over the flight,Are you aware of that? Are you?Xheck the flight paths of most planes,Its just 1-2 hours of stop.No proper maintenance.

2) Regular flying results in a lot of fatigue due to compressed air and time zones.Working for long hours can result in fatigue and faliure to properly assess an aircraft. If you want to attest this, some of the air hostess clothes are very dirty.

3) Lastly,You cannot fly an over 10 year old machine for 10s of hours without proper maintenance.Thats a disaster.Any machine over 8 years requires regular overhaul from engine hydraulics flaps electronics otherwise its a time bomb.

The cause of that accident was an overworked maintenance crew beating deadlines and an airplane not properly maintained while being flown by inexperienced pilot.

If you doubt this, let them table the aircraft flight hours, service intervals and numbers of hours worked by maintainance crew and pilots.

The day i saw sprayed paint on wings, dirty airhostess, broken seat and screen,a lately arrived plane 787 being "maintained" after a 16 hour flight and then another 16 hour flight and the plane starting before even the luggage is set and hostess have sat down,I knew african and asian airlines are flying caskets.

These cheap aiŕlines are dangerous but money first.

I fly all the time within US and to Europe and Asia. Crews may be tired but that says nothing about the accidents. You are conflating these matters.

In 2018 and 19, 2 Boeing 787 MAX crashed in Indoneshia and Ethiopia. Investigatioins found the aircraft had technical challenges in its flight control (autopilot) software. The culprit was the Boeing assembly line's quality control which did not catch the BUG. 787 MAX was grounded for over a year and Boeing had to pay through the nose for deaths, airlines' losses and criminal penalties.

In Jan 2024, an Alaska Airline 737 MAX's door dropped from the air in Portland, Oregon. Investigators found the door bolts were loose and the fault was assigned squarely on Boeing not the airline.

Nefertiti is right. Plane can not land and in few minutes take off. Main reason being brakes temperature cooling off. Newer planes have brake temperature monitoring systems.

Githunguri -

There are regulations about pilot-hours. If airlines violate them investigatioins would reveal that which they have not. Even maintenance crews have work regulations.

Obviously cabin crew (air hostesses) have lax rules because they don't handle the aircrafts but just serve passengers.
