There are four plausible theories at this point.
1) Langat organize interrogation police station - very silly idea - because he has DCI or anti terror - where he would have done that during the weekend - why the hurry.
2) Kevin Moinde was kept in Kamukunji - no record of being tortured. Kevin is one who rated out others. Whatever treatment Kevin got - Ojwang got. So he is key
3) Muhkwana and others just beat him to death - for no reason. Ojwang was huge. Maybe he tried to be tough and Muhkwana terminated him. Getting the pipe he uses is key
4) Muhkwana was paid to terminate him - by Anti-Lagat forces - so this exact hulabaloo is created - Wamunyoro or internal rivals of Lagat.

Pundit is trying hard to spin a Hollywood plot ati Almighty Gachagua killed a blogger to wedge UDA vs ODM.

I would not be surprised if Lagat personally murdered Ojwang' in person. We had initial accounts how Ojwang was hali mahututi when he was dumped at Central hence delete the CCTV.

The movements, etc - are okay. It is possible Ojwang was killed by Mukhwana and other cops at Central.

Where you don't make sense - that IG Douglas Kanja colluded with RiggyG. Yet the same Kanja withdrew RiggyG security.

RiggyG is Ruto's opponent not Lagat's. Getting a DIG fired or smeared would change nothing for Riggy. The entire police force reports to Ruto and Murkomen.

Pundit - DIG Lagat is not all that important in the larger scheme of things. Ruto can replace him with another Kalenjin in a blink at zero cost. This might happen as contradictory CCTV and other evidence mounts.

I also don't agree or call for Lagat firing without evidence and due process. If I was Ruto - I would tell IG and IPOA to get to the bottom - no coverup! - and ensure justice. I hope that is what Ruto has done.

1) Whoever started this all - whoever started the online campaign against lagat - alleging graft and all - wanted Lagat removed - it definitely someone in the forces.
2)  Rigathi has taken keen interest on police - esp Lagat - and OCSes of Nairobi - he has been leaking info - he has his faction in security forces likely feeding him.
3)  I dont believe Rigathi and Kanja have fallen out - It likely Kanja and his people are ones feeding him and airing frustration of Lagat and kalenjin usurping all the big police jobs (graft) - Kanja and Rigathi are village mate - we hear possibly related via marriage.

As for facts of this case.
1) It known that Ojwang was handed over healthy by DCI - he called the wife - DCI takes pictures/videos as he enters the stations  & his phone for more foresncis - he is locked up at central.
2) It known that Ojwang was healthy in two other rounds of check - they check inmates every 2 or so hours - there is a roll call often in the cells.
3) It known somewhere at 12-1am - someone terminated Ojwang - on OB - a Mohammed writes Ojwang is fine at 1pm.
4) Curiously few minutes - at 1:10 or so - it now written Ojwanga is not healthy -found bleedin gon the cell.
5) Ojwang is taken to hospital and is in Mbagathi by 1:35am - he pronounced dead at 2am.

We don't have a country. Lagat is the main suspect but he is still in charge interfering with investigation. What crime did Albert commit? Exposing Lagat corrupt dealings. Why is EACC not requesting information from Lagat on source of his wealth. How does a DIG buy houses in Dubai worth millions of dollars?
