In the next 18 months, a housing project will transform the landscape. Affordable Houses in every county will be almost ready 90 days before elections. Read the comments. Ruto delivers, and given 10 years, Kenyans will be begging him to change the constitution for him to run a third term.

SOme jokers declared RUto a failure - when he was battling debt crisis and setting legal foundation for his work.

Things are starting to work
1) Agriculture - this one is firing on all cylinders - but risk of drought can always undo all the benefits.

2) SHIF/SHIA - Keep DUALE in health - make sure we move to 90% coverage - this will affect many people - slowly Harambees are disappearing - and we have not even funded the critical care.

If 2027 - we have moved from 11M active beneficiary - to say 45M active beneficiary - Ruto will have transformed healthcare - in ways not imaginable.

"As of 2022, NHIF had approximately 14 million registered principal members and about 12.9 million dependents, totaling around 26.9 million registered beneficiaries. However, due to factors like voluntary membership and dropout rates, the number of active beneficiaries was approximately 11.6 million."

3) Housing - FUNDAMENTAL shift is start to happen - instead of people buying plots and building them 60kms from Nairobi or Eldoret - they are now saving in Boma yangu - to get 1-2-3 bedroom cheaply. In a decade - we will have become like advanced countries - where people get a mortgage cheap house - nobody bother going to buy plot in middle of bush - like my famous MAVOKO :) - I suffered.

4) Legacy Infra - Mombasa to Malaba expressway and SGR -  Isiolo to Mandera -  plus few others make RUTO Untouchable.

5) Never forget SURE VOTER WINNERS - rural voters - want rural paved roads, electricity and piped water - you do that - you win rural voters.

Bado 2026. The hasora economy is in depression mode.

Battling debts - the battle is getting started with biggest probable casualty. Forget SGR or expressway- No way to impress the lenders.

School fees/capitation crisis. Examinations fees better be reinstated.

Politics of teargas. Tutaona where it takes him.

Things have turned the corner.
Expressway is done deal.
SGR is silent....maybe not be ready?
Economy is starting to boom - esp now that bad debt in pending bills has been dealt.
Interest will come down
And private credit will grow.

Yues interest rates are at their highest, and once they go past 6%, the sneeze will be fatal for our interest rates for personal/ business loans as well govt loans.

The verification commission just declared 300 mbirioni pending bills moot. This will kill some banks as this bad loans are connected to the pending bills.

SGR's main silent killer is the opaque structure of Mojaway contracts, which state capture could have resolved.

Fuel is still the highest despite the lowest global prices. Even with dams full, electricity tariffs are where.

Fact is fuel and electricity are evidence of the harmful effects of these touted PPPs in a corrupt environment. The inflation of prices is toxic to the economy.

The only way Ruto wins is Rigging the election, majority of Kenyans have only felt economic pain and harassment. The housing levy is itself very unpopular the way it’s structured, these houses are built on poor Kenyans sweat while Ruto and his cabal steals billions. He keeps taking away the little benefits they enjoyed from Uhuru like examination fee waiver etc the GenZ blood and now iinvading churches and even killing priests for hosting the opposition, it’s over for Ruto. The guy is a self own machine, he lies, surrounds himself with incompetents like Murkonen, Sudi and Farouk who every time they speak, he loses votes, I think it’s a blessing in disguise for Kenyans who need to remove Ruto for any transformative agenda to be implemented, the guy has even rolled back democratic rights Kenyan enjoyed with this somewhat flawed constitution. He is one term and this is good for Kenya, leaders need to know who they work for and if they do not deliver, they will be removed and jailed like in the Asian Tigers. 2027 will be housecleaning of Kenyan politics and especially in mt Kenya, careers will end with this election.
