This speaks volumes.  Ruto has clearly been whining to Kindiki about the booing. It shows you how sensitive ruto is to any form of criticism.  Ruto needs to grow a pair of balls. He is a lot weaker (if these things bother him) than I thought. 

Also, Kindiki lecturing the governor about why a president is being booed is so stupid. Aren't they more pressing issues to discuss in such a poverty stricken country???

Kindiki knows he doesn't stand a chance in Embu, so he can speak all he wants,his main duty is prove he can deliver Meru and Tharaka nithi a tall order by itself, Embu is 100%  Gachagua,Embus are actually closer to Kikuyu than Meru. Meru is distinct in mt.kenya Merus are unlike Kikuyus and Embus in several different ways.

Kindiki should enjoy his 2.5yrs of deputy presidency.
Mt kenya east are Kikuyu appendage - and he is up literally against the mountain to deliver merus & embus.
Meru is 3-4% of Kenya.
Embus & Mbeere 1%.
Ruto cant risk DPORK for 5%.
Even if he get some kikuyu votes - he would still be behind - maybe 8% nationally - best best case scenario.

THEN HE HURTS RUTO MASSIVELY in NON-GEMA who have an eye of 2032 where presidency will hopeful leave Kikuyu-Kalenjin.

Kindiki will eventually be given a NO but Thank You card.
Thankfully after serving 2.5yrs the DPORK entitles him to a lifetime pension - Ideally Ruto should find him a job in UN or AU or COMESA - before 2027.
