Draconian austerity measures on Kenya?
« on: July 10, 2024, 06:27:19 PM »

Many countries colonialized or not have gone through IMF successfully because of good leadership.

There are too many land grabbing politicians like Ruto, Uhuru to even Orengo and Raila who ought to return stolen land. I'm sure that would cover a portion of the deficit.

Land is not the issue but money stolen and taken offshore.

Land redistribution will happen eventually via policy changes on land use and taxation

Ruto never took steps to stop anything from going on. So problems quadrupled. He also started interfering with judicial processes and that’s the last thing
Pple want someone e to take charge, and stop the looting and passing the debt to next generations. Empower a commission to get back the loot. If someone has already developed it tax it and use the cash

Do you expect anything like that from Ruto? He is one of the biggest beneficiaries of the current system.

Maybe that is why there is no trust in anyone of them. They've lied and gotten away so much that you cant trust any decision that favors the regular guy. They still think it is a kikuyu thing but it is all over.
