It was Wrong for Isaak Hassan to Meet Uhuru Kenyatta

I have waited to hear anything but been surprised by the deafening silence! Not even ODM has managed to say anything.

Isaak Hassan went to meet Uhuru Kenyatta and while there received orders which were reported in the media. Uhuru Kenyatta has no power to direct, order or instruct the IEBC. The IEBC has no excuse to go and meet Uhuru Kenyatta.

If the IEBC needed money or any favours from the government it would have summoned ALL the registered and Parliamentary parties to a plenary meeting where it would present the issues and seek a broad consensus for a vote in parliament to get whatever it wanted - including money.

I have waited to hear when it is Isaak Hassan plans to meet the leaders of the other political parties and heard nothing. This meeting lies on the border of the illegal and undermines the standing of the IEBC even further given that they have yet to clear their names about the Chicken Scandal. It is on record that Isaak Hassan released tender details to the Chicken Owners in London more than a day before he gave the same information to other bidders.
