So Tik Tok is really screwed!!!
Chinese use a different version of TIKTOK than the rest of the world.
They can manipulate people to fit their agenda.

The problem with China is the opaqueness with which their enterprises operate. It is not clear cut if the companies are privately owned or belong to the state. Officially is China still a communist state. No personal belongings.
