How come we are never told who sold such land to the naive buyers? Soemone must have cashed in big. It is stated the then governor of Machakos Mutua wrote to the DCI asking the agency to investigate the sale of the land. No action was taken by DCI and the sales went on.
Kenya sucks sometimes. Why let people buy illegal land when this can be avoiede just by DCI giving out a warning to potential buyers?

Appeals after appeals and injuctions after the other..all litigants are dead now and the final judgment by nyeri land tribunal statute of limitations expired. Leaving the winner of case without compensation. This how the land cases go. So once you get a judgment you rush with a bulldozer and take the land back

Slow court process hurt people, but when court issues eviction, President, or anyone cannot stop it. It is sad that gullible people were still getting, conned, others continuing with construction even after numerous warnings.

Don't react to any news without much thought. The culprits/grabbers who sold land are fighting in courts, but may take years to find out. Corrupt courts may acquit them after paying heavily as always, but I think If we had independent media to expose these cartels working politicians, things would be much better. I think area MP, Wavinya, and mentioned guy (Julius Mutua) are on the list.

Hasoras need to understand the perpetrators will get away and use the monies to do more evil on others, till the day they identify and place a personal cost on these perpetrators.

It seems like the problem lies with the judiciary taking  too long with these cases; maybe they need a specific land court that can fast track these cases and ahmednasir has been complaining about how totally corrupt the judiciary has become lately.

In all honesty, in order for ruto to fix the cesspool of corruption in kenya, he's going to have to do like china. People have to start GOING TO JAIL and ruto needs to tell the judges to get it together.  Without punishment, this nonsense will continue.

The corrupt land brokers need to be in prison but isn't they a better way to do this without destroying people's homes and livelihoods?
