To avoid betrayal learn to be loyal and subservient to Ruto for the next 10yrs. Ruto was harrassed by GEMA just like Moi. But he played along - avoiding direct conflict.

The issue at the moment is not who will succeed Ruto.
The question is, What has Ruto given to Mt Kenya?
Is the reward to the GEMA community equivalent to their votes?
Once he isolates Gachagua,What will Ndindi or ichungwa gain for their community?

The last 20 years has seen Mt Kenya take more than their share in government jobs. Now Kalejin taking more than their share, but their day of reckoning will also come. The next president after Ruto will cut Kalejin back to size.

Accept the fact that Kenya is not only Mt Kenya and RV. Those two groups do not even have 35% of the country's population and have more than 60% of government posts.
