Raila is basically KAPUT - and Luos can continue to fight and antagonise the gov for another 70yrs.

They have two options
1) Remain committed to the opposition - and back Kambas - Kalonzo who has supported them thrice - they can continue being KYM of Uhuru Kenyattas who is desperate for any political support - as freed GEMA seem completely done with Kenyattas.

2) Repay Kalenjin backing of 2007 - that gave them PM - by making peace with Ruto and joining UDA

In short - Choose Uhuru money or Ruto money plus gov.
Raila will remain relevant with Uhuru as he will lead the troops.
Ruto will demand Raila exit the scene as he wont risk GEMA voters becoming angry at sight of Raila.

I hope my Luo brothers remain committed to make Kenya a corruption free, justice for all meritocracy, supporting someone like Ruto is stooping too low. Kikuyus sold out for pennies but now paying a heavy price, one day Kenya will repay your your sacrifice.

Kalenjin voted for you in 2007 before Raila out of his shortshightedness started accusing Ruto of all kinds of evil, when he delivered PM position to him.

Kikuyus hold you in contempt, they see Luos as dirty uncircumcissed KYMs
