Your emotions got the better of you? As usual. how can a leopard change its spots

Which part do you find humorous?

Be wise. Realize beyond your ears and bedroom, your declarations on the afterlife mean about diddly squat. I might as well listen to my Hindu friend teach me about my past life. And don't flatter yourself. I am not spoiling for a fight or even a Convo. I was irritated by your tasteless sense of humour and pointed out that a pastor ought to know better.

None of it is humorous, from the headline to the content of the first post to that explanation you made to Mya confirming that your motivation is "good humour". In the circumstances, its actually repulsive and quite SAD, not funny at all. I can't explain your idea of humour, I can only describe it as twisted when it is, as in this particular case.

Kadame,
I told Mya88 that there is nothing intelligent on negro conspiracy theories but they (the theories that is) make good humour. Some are so outlandish. That was the point, not mocking a grieving parent. Kids bury parents. That's natural. When parents bury kids, the grief is untold.

Yesterday I was in bed listening to KTN Tukuza and this lady spoke of her two miscarriages in 3 years. She said how she had started getting names for her unborn and window shopped, bought a cot. She found it mighty insensitive for her relations and friends to console her by telling her that the unborn was just a piece of flesh and there is more where it came from! That is an unborn. Now imagine raising a kid to 40 years. Imagine how much more bond there is between the parent and the kid.

I honestly tried to understand where you was coming from and I couldn't until I read that post.

Well, if I misread your meaning then I withdraw/apologize.

vooke, why do you dehumanize folks by referring them by their tribe or race or whatever? Ohoo i know! So you can proceed to say nasty things.
It's a devastating tactic. Ronald Reagan used it against Carter. Carter never recovered. It is the same tactic used against RAO in 2007 but perfected in 2013. I advised them on possible antidotes but never try to speak sense where hyenas sense rotten meat!

The focus was on the money.

For the record I employ it from time to time.

I am glad you also find vooke wicked sense of humour quite disturbing. Maybe as new yr resolution he can for once start seeing people for who they are individually. Only when you're discussing a group of folks would it be apt to bring in their group name i.e tribe or race. But if you're talking about singular individuals like Prophet Owour, late Fidel odinga, or Kanyari..what does their tribe has to do with anything? ohoo mad jarluo prophet ohoo Jarluo's demise ohoo okuyu this..or negro this or that. If 10 or 20 luos had died...it would be okay if you bring in their tribe...but what has Jarluo has to do with Fidel? Is his tribe the most important attribute?

Why is it not enough to say "preliminary theories of Fidel Odinga demise".

Please read my response to Mya. I said the Negro conspiracy theories are unintelligent but they make good humor. It is the theories that I find amusing not a family mourning death of their forty year old first born

Your opinion is duly noted though

Dehumanizing is your opinion. If it remotely occurs to me, I will duly drop it.

Political correctness is hypocrisy

Dehumanization of people can happen when real interaction with their group is non-existent.  When you don't interact with people, you are more vulnerable to seeing them in caricature.  A common trait I noticed at the restroom.

I am not saying vooke is a case study.  I actually don't think he dehumanizes so much as being non-politically correct.  But sometimes he does bring in tribe in a manner that leaves one puzzled.  The one case in mind I remember is the Idiot fellow who killed his wife in a perfectly domestic quarrel, the type that no tribe has a monopoly, real or perceived, on.

Mya88,
kadame misunderstood me and she withdrew/apologized. She thought I was making humour out of Fidel's demise.

Termie,
I agree with you totally. There is a guy called Emmanuel Eni back in the 80s who wrote about his life as a satanist before converting to Christianity. He said they used to turn human flesh and blood into goat meat or something else to make it easier to eat. When Muslims go about butchering kaffirs, they are first convinced that these are subhuman unworthy of existence. In both cases, dehumanizing happens in the mind first. Once that is done, you would not hesitate to burn a fellow human alive. PEV too. The reason the two are on trial is because dehumanizing is not spontaneous; it takes time and Vague's idea is that the two were behind the planning and conditioning...

I use these tribal terms loosely for good and for evil and for fun without a care in this world and I have never been convinced they subtract nothing from my point. But times have changed. There is a university that found itself on the wrongside of political correctness; Inoorero University. The name is Embu or Okoyu and after PEV it could not attract nobody outside GEMA.

I will work on it if for no other reason than Veritas put up this forum to discuss real issues not vooke
