Africans cannot rule. So sad. It's like they take over and ruin everything.

Will not happen in our lifetime. SA is mismanaged but by far political and economic more stable than Kenya. What does Kenya produce apart from coffee, tea, flowers and athletes that SA does not produce in bigger and better quality? A highway like the Thika one is nothing in SA to talk about. Found even in small cities. Quality of life in SA for the middle class is much higher than Kenya. Do you know of any South African seeking to work in Kenya? I know many of the opposite. That is the indication of prosperity.

15yrs ago - South Africa was far ahead - 10 times.
Then it got stuck - since 2010 - GDP has been stuck.
And things are getting worse n worse.
Kenya GDP is now 3 times less than RSA.

15yrs - we will be in the same mess - South Africa is regressing because GDP is stuck while population is increasing (births and migration)

The inequalities have to be addressed whether in Kenya or Satta Afrika. The ANC MPs and most politicians were running in exile as the whites were enjoying best of education and all. The apartheid was killing mwafrika for going to school and now wants educated mwafrika leaders- bollocks. Then, mzungu never wailed failed state as majority mwafrika was eating shit.

Power was guaranteed for few white districts now every South african want and should get power. So mzungu wails country going down.

Comparisons Sandtons/Gigiris/Karens and say Soweto/Githurais/Kiberas.

Malema is 10 years late to attempt to lead the redistribution efforts.

Don't you think 30yrs is enough to correct these inequalities??
Whey garbage on the streets?
Kibaki, with Raila addressed some of the inequalities but there was no follow up so it is going back to former status.

Social and economic transformation is the acceptable path to addressing or burying historical injustices and inequalities. But how do you achieve that without going after big land owners and plunders of public resources going back to Boer invasion of 1880.

How was garbage collection in Soweto and other black neighborhood's before 94.

Yes until they resolve land - they are wasting time. Black unemployment is nearly 50%. They need the land.

First you say this -- that kenya will overtake south africa

THen you say this: that kenya will be in the same mess. so which is it

The zimbabwean experiment showed that inequality cannot be addressed with redistribution.  Your only option is to try and expand the economy (via production) and increase opportunities for everyone.

Establish cooperatives. train people to produce and package agri stuff - fresh fruit juices, nuts, etc. then lease them the land. Markets are always available.
Giving someone land without training their brain is useless. Zimbabwe failed miserably.

Imagine giving land in Kwazulu-Natal to a young man who grew up in Soweto. What is he going to do with it? RSA's problem is not a land problem, but resources distribution. The young people need jobs and the ANC regime has failed in job creation in the past 20 years.  SA's economy is much more adavnced that kenya's. SA today should be in the ranks of China, but the Black man failed his own people terribly.

Bullcrap. Boers from Arctic took mwafrika and did 'something' with it. Even building a shack where one does not pay rent is something enough.

With dollar inflation, small scale farming is a goldmine.

Zimbabwe land owners will be better in the long run. The sanctions have destroyed the lives of the most poor and the land is offering a lifeline.

Exactly. Unemployment in rest of Africa is less than 5% because the worst anyone can become is go back to rural home and farm. South Africans poor need some land - so if things dont work out - they can eke their living - from land - growing their own food - living rent free - kids attending to gov schools - like majority of kenyans - who are surviving sometimes without seeing any money in their pockets. Most kenyan just need money for occasional sugar and cooking oil purchases - otherwise if you're growing own food - you dont need money to survive.
