Handshake problem?????? The handshake alone was not enough to put the country in the mess we are in right now!
Pundit....we won't buy that narrative. You conveniently forget the scandals that bedeviled jubilee season one. All the huge infrastructure projects with highly inflated costs and how you kept praising wsr saying that he outstole ouru and Rao combined.
Wsr is a major part of the reason Kenya is in this sad state. Let's see how he wriggles himself out of this problem of his own making!

Jubilee 1.0 was a great success - and was voted back by 5% more votes - due to opening up of rural areas with paved roads and electricity.

Yes debt to gdp climbed to from 40% to 57%.

At that point - borrowing had to stop - if you recall - I myself said as much - we had to stop over-leveraging - as we were approaching dangerous level

Handshake took over.

Didnt do Big 4 - went for BBI - borrowing continued hitting 70% of GDP.

Handshake was rightly thrown out by kenyans for wrecking their economy.

Now Ruto has to fix handshake mess - do Big 4 and fix debt.

Always remember the determination of failure and success is done by Kenyans in election day freely and democratically.

The rest are theories.

Ruto regime will be evaluated by kenyans.

Kibaki grew economy but failed in many things - kenyans voted him out - but he rigged.

Uhuru in 1st term was excellent - won by 55 percent then 98 percent.

2nd term disaster.
