Saudi Arabia - Finally some help But Unemployment is a crisis
« on: January 15, 2023, 03:59:28 AM »

So we went to Sakan holding center in Riyadh. Sakan shelters take in any female domestic worker in distress. In this particular shelter, they had 257 Kenyans (another 31 are in the other 12 branches across KSA). I was surprised by what I found. @Diaspora_KE
THREAD 1/8 pic.twitter.com/9U9bYIluVe
— Roseline K. Looks like this new PS is really trying to change things unlike the previous administration. Is that Macharia Kamau still at foreign affairs?

I really don't know how these sub-saharan African countries are going to address the unemployment crisis with growing populations and almost no production though.

The previous administration did absolutely nothing. This is a very good start. She's young, she's using social media, posting her number, getting the information out there so kenyans can tell their relatives, talking about Sakan, which no one had ever heard of before and even telling people to DM her.

That Macharia Kamau guy did nothing.

Why hasn't he been fired yet? and he seems to have lasted from Kibaki's days.

The only thing I know about him (& this is from a speech he gave) is that before he joined the foreign ministry, he tried running a restaurant/bar in Kenya and it failed. Does he come from a well off family because he seems to have had no other career before that.

Kenya plato what say you here

this is pure pr. mutua affirmed the ksa deal with jubilee of kenya to supply slaves. he in return got food and money to fight hunger in kenya. Kenyans will continue being sold to Arabs like the Philippinos. meanwhile these poor people will end up destitute and their kids will damaged for good from separation. this type of labor export is very harmful.
