Come on. Ruto just replacing the corrupt with other corrupt. Take a good example of NHIF chair. Now the famous corrupt Michael Kamau is back after looting Roads Ministr for decades. Look at the new KRA chairman with cases against him with the said KRA he now chairs.
That other corrupt Mary Wambui heading Communications Authority of Kenya.

He saved Kenya tens of billions at KPC where the Lebanese (Zakhem) in collusion with Charles Keter (and others we shall not name for now) had escalated the Pipeline contract by over Shs.10b.

Yes, he was put on many strategic boards by Uhuru mostly because of his competence and for vested interest (also partly to protect the Kenyatta wealth) .... just in the same way WSR is putting Adil Khawaja (his personal lawyer) at Safaricom. We watched in horror as Uhuru put his cronies (literally state sanctioned cartels headed by none other than the head of state himself) in strategic places. Now WSR is replaying the same exact script!

His Tanzania case was simply because he was the Head of Africa, Investment Banking at Stanbic when the said transaction went down. He is indicted by dint of his office. The MD at that time Bashir Awale (a Kenyan) also had to ran off back home when Magufuli took over. Awale and other were openly rooting for Lowassa.

John Ngumi is a very smart fella, albeit very arrogant and with British "airs".

Kenya is really lost cause.... nothing changes with WSR at the helm as regards corruption and state capture. It will get worse.

Secondly Ruto will appoint his friends and loyalist.
If they loot - and Ruto protect them - then Ruto will have indeed started his political descent.
Ruto business end with appointing these people.
What they do in the office is really upto them.
If they steal and get caught - we expect them to be roasted alive. Ruto to fire them.
If they steal and dont get caught - we will blame you, opposition, media, dci, and everyone for not doing their job.

For now it's premature to issue warnings

Yes I was disappointed with Kamau - appointment - because I believe he looted funds and built himself the hotel in Upperhill
But maybe I was wrong. The story he made in mother burial was quite emotional - claiming he was not a thief.
I am not sure where his case stands.
If he has active criminal case - I expect someone to petition the high court to have him removed.

Generally Uhuru messed up the fight against graft - now we dont know who was being persecuted or prosecuted.
