That is true, Tutsi are a minority and must be protected . KDF currently are not well briefed unless it is related to a promise for gold and diamond by Kinshasa . We might start receiving body bags soon, better work with Paul Kagame.
DRC gov and people are openly genocidal against the Banyamulenge and Tutsi blaming them for the turmoil in the region. That is good enough reason to allow their secession. This conflict will be end with carving out of Kivu republic for Tutsi.Drc should be told the truth - the country is too unwieldly to be managed - they need to change the constitution to support deeper fedaralism Quote from: lelewela on November 27, 2022, 03:17:25 PMThat is true, Tutsi are a minority and must be protected . I see you look at regional situation objectively, Tutsis are endangered species among a see of Machete wielding Bantus. They are seen as foreigners by both Congelese and Hutus , most probably Tutsis are NilotesThat is why Kagame will stay in power until another powerful Tutsi or a republic of Tutsi is carved from Eastern DRC and part of Rwanda. Kenya should be careful in this conflict - I would support the carving out of republic for Tutsi in DRC. DRC remain too big to be uncontrolled by Kinshasasa.#Tutsi in Eastern #DRC are in danger.#FARDC +#FDLR + #CODECO are massacring them and the world is silent as it was in #Rwanda in 1994? These are the forebears of M23.//www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-u2BZ2v49g
There are different classes of Tutsi in DRC. There is Banyamulenge in South Kivu who are natives. Then there is a Banyarwanda group(Hutus and Tutsis) in North Kivu, also legit natives. And then there are Tutsis(Rwandans) who fled in the 60s (much like Kagame did into Uganda). I think this last group is the one primarily behind M23. It seems to me like remaining/innocent long term natives have been caught up in the chaos created by the Rwandans(M23). It has become almost impossible to separate them. The Congolese are left feeling like the whole lot should just leave for Rwanda. And those images have been recirculated as part of M23 propaganda.
But now there is genuine case to have them on their country. If Rwanda gov was to kill Hutus in Rwanda - they would similarly get that legitimacy. In any case DRC itself should be split into many countries.Quote from: Kim Jong-Un's Pajama Pants on November 28, 2022, 08:48:49 PMThere are different classes of Tutsi in DRC. There also the other natives, who have been there longer, that they are fighting. Not to mention the resource rich region. Kinshasa won't be convinced to hand over its coltan country to them. Autonomy, with respect for all the people in the region, seems the better shot.
