Moses Kuria: GMO's are the least of your worries Kenyans
« on: November 19, 2022, 12:40:41 AM »
Why do people have a hard time accepting so many things that kuria says.  This statement he made is true. Before GMO so many things can kill them - criminals, police, cholera, collapsing buildings, hunger, famine, tribal clashes.  Sometimes I think these fake middle class kenyans living in apartments in kilimani or kilelelshwa think they are living in Sweden.  :D

I personally, would not eat GMO's but I'm not your typical poverty stricken kenya struggling to just eat one meal a day. I'm about to have a very nice seafood dinner. Tomorrow may I"ll have lamb chops so I do understand that 90% of kenyans don't have these choices.

Which part of the world do you live? If you live in a western country, you automatically eat GMO, especially anything meat! In the US, you may have to travel all the way to Shenandoah Valley Virginia to get 100% grass-fed meat. 90% of US foods are GMO produced on industrial scale that is why they NEVER EVER run out!

If you had stayed longer in school perhaps you would have valued research and why we should all engage in it so we have explanations at why things are the way they are and the world would be better off pristine the way the maker meant it to be.

You gleefully mention Western Nations in connection to GMO. Were you under a rock when millions in the west succumbed to covid while in Africa it was hardly a scare? Tafakari. The Nobel prize winner for medicine 2022 found a link between Gene's of our ancestors and effect of Covid-19. Homo Sapiens of sub-Sahara africa SSA are the purest. Lack of contamination from  other homids is the reason we had the least impact from covid even as South Africa were devasted. Must have been just as bad for the Arab Africans.

Et tu Termie? :o
GMO saga is much ado over nothing.  If you live in or have been to the US, you have stuffed yourself with GMO.  I have noticed that GMO eg bananas even tastes better than non-GMO which also cost more and go bad in a New York minute.

You no longer have to travel. Lots of organic farms in the US (especially in the south) will deliver  it to you the next day packed in ice. You can order online now.  The US is extremely efficient.

But beyond this, Kuria is making a good point and that point is, Africans are faced with two choices: Hunger/death from starvation or GMO
