This happening a lot targetting foreigners - old asians or europeans - in nairobi and coast - leases expire after 50 or 90yrs - they know for example that Ngara leases are expiring - so they look for a way to make the current owners unable to renew their leases - then snap the land for free.

So those targetted have leasehold title - not freehold (perpetual)

He is the stupid guy. Police are not Kalenjin. They belong to all tribes and can be bribed. These are conmen from all tribes. They have been at it. There is nothing indicating Moi 1990s land grab.

Now this guy need to tell DCI who gave him the fake court order - why he didnt certify - before demolish someone hse - and in meantime prepare to pay huge damages.

Notice, even the DCI has not mentioned the people who sent the Bukusu auctioneer and all attention is on the naive auctioneer. He too will come out unscarthed since he cannot be charged in court without the evidence against him pointing at the men who sent him.
