I am increasingly noticing that they are many men in Kenya between the ages of 22 to 45 who are either not working and in many cases have never worked.  These men are now flocking to social media and spending all day on instagram, youtube and tiktok and they are spending their days twerking and gossiping about their body counts.  The fact that they are jobless or broke doesn't seem to bother them in the least.

However, it looks like the women (in some cases their wives and girlfriends have jobs). The women in Kenya seem to be able to hold down 9 to 5 jobs, but not these young and not so young men who believe that gossiping all day on youtube is a real job, but in reality, it's their wives and girlfriends that are paying their bills for them.

These men are now flocking to youtube and listening to clowns like Andrew Kibe (a 48 year old man) who has been in the US for almost a year and a half, but appears to not be working and who spends his whole day complaining about women. He seems to have landed in the US with this Kenyan attitude of not working, but yet spends all day gossiping on youtube and whining about how bad women are.  He has two kids in Kenya that are clearly being taken care of by their mothers, but this fact is totally lost on Kibe and this brings up another issue: Deadbeats.  Ruto needs to look into some kind of child support enforcement to force many of these idle men into a sense of responsibility and work.

Youtube is working. I own an apartment in some place in Nairobi - the number of young youtubers living large are  in that estate is huge.

There are new careers that were created post 2020 covid.

These are online entertainment jobs - social influencing - and name it

Some make serious money. Kibe is on his way to big YouTube cheques.

Kibe with 284K subscribers is probably closing 10K usd per month  - if they especially come from diaspora.

lol..you clearly don't know how the youtube algorithim works.  The ad rates that are paid out for African youtubers are miniscule because the consumers are not in those markets.  Companies buy ad's on youtube in an effort to attract customers. They're not buying ad's for joy.  Those customers (i.e. the one's with the disposable income are largely in the west and that is who they want. They're not looking for consumers in Uganda)

Sounds like you are confusing wash wash with youtube

no. no. no.  Especially because most of his viewers are based in Kenya the ad rates are miniscule. To make that amount in the US, you'd need a majority of US viewers and millions and millions of views on each video. I've heard he is living off some woman in Dallas (he is clearly in someone's house, but never talks about it even when asked) You can't survive off those miniscule youtube earnings in the US

It still a lot of money for kenya youtuber.
And with huge diaspora looking for kenya content - you will find most say Kibe subscribers are American-Kenyans
Like I have told you - I have seen those small boys living large - with youtube skits.

The growth of such kind of revenues is hockey stick like.
You struggle to get subscribers - then you start growing fast - when it become viral
I have seen Kibe grow very fast...I was among first subscribers when he use to beg with phone line to Mpesa.
If he hits a million subscribers - he will be closing serious money monthly
And he wont have to report to anyone - and will be able to travel - and say whatever he wants.
And again most diaspora kenyans will be looking for such content to connect to kenya

I'm surprised you don't  understand how youtube works. So, I have posted an example below for you. This is a Nigerian youtuber with 650,000 subscribers.  For a video he did that got 1 million views he only made $132 dollars.

Kibe is not funny and is actually a total loser and very bitter man.  Had to escape from Kenya after he was fired from Kiss (& I'm sure used the visa he had received when he worked at kiss) He is very elusive about what he is doing in dallas. Never answers questions about whether he has a job or not, but is clearly living in someone's house. Never answers questions about his visa. Never answer questions about who he is living with. He just whines all day about women and jalas (very envious of him after jalas took his job and became an MP -- something kibe tried to do years ago and failed); never answers questions about his marital status or his children, but yet spends all day criticizing other people's lives but won't answer questions about his own life.

Really?  I only just saw this guy and one video clip.  I am not saying he has no flaws(we all do).  But his channel is like a shock jock.  There is a niche for that kind of stuff.

I think you're just jealous as Kibe is making money using his talent spending nothing.
Kibe for example is closing almost 50k views per day
If he isnt making money now - soon he will start making serious money.

Dont be bitter.
He is not a criminal fugitive :)
Jesus did he dump you?
He is using his big mouth to earn an honest living after getting fired for saying stuff corporates found unpalatable.
People like his content - kinda like Amerix of Twitter -
Lot of men who feel emasculated by feminism are trooping to listen to Kibe preach.
There is a youtube channel for everything.
You dont like Kibe - you move on - listen to Jalas - he has is own.

You missed my entire point.  Feminism is not emasculating Kenyan men.  The bad economy and the unemployment rate is what is emasculating them. They are confusing the issues. LOL! To change their reality, they need to start looking at ways of changing their economic depression either by immigrating to countries with jobs or focusing on their skills. Listening to bitter men like Amerix and Kibe won't resolve their economic issues.

Pundit: Stick to analyzing MOASS.

Why would I be jealous of Kibe?

Ruto is not going to be able to change the country with gossiping/twerking men. Men need to do real things like working in factories, manufacturing plants, building machines, etc, etc

Kibe speaks what a normal healthy man sees and thinks, but knows not to blurt out fwaa.  You keep him away from your daughter or sister and you are good.  I wouldn't trust him around young lasses for sure.  But that is his bread and butter I guess.

That shoulder dance, is it done by all the Luhyas(or just some sub tribes)?  There is also a leg shaking thing and one where they go down and shake the waist on all fours.

Then there is this one

Tayo is very talented.  But his content likely gets views from a mostly niche African audience looking for positive vibes.  To get a western audience, you have to take them into the wild - show them undocumented tribes, people who eat snakes, hyenas, rats, worms and things like that.

Then there is this one

Different sub-tribes of Luhya can claim ownership to different dances.
Shoulder dance also known as "Amabeka" (luhya directly translates to 'Shoulders') originated in Bukusu land (https://www.tiktok.com/@maryandia2/video/6841511416256548102)
You often see Dr. Boni Khalwale doing the leg shaking. That is Ishikuti. Ishikuti and Bullfighting originated from Isukha and Idaho recognized by UNESCO (https://ich.unesco.org/en/USL/isukuti-dance-of-isukha-and-idakho-communities-of-western-kenya-00981)

As for your youtube, that is not luyha ... our dances are PG. That one probably corrupted from Zaire

Thats the society nowadays men have become irrelevant due to economics and they resort to wasting time online. Once a culture is destroyed the outcome usually is this.
