What about Sonko-Ali Mbogo? I think Ruto signed a MOU with SOnko to give Ali Mbogo the CS - so Hassan Sarai has drunk water. In Kwale - Mvurya likely to get CS and so will Kilifi Aisha Jumwa.

Ruto is very keen on coast - because he wants to take Arabs and Kenyatta land - give half to Mijikenda and keep half for investors.

I expect Ruto to focus his attention on Three Major areas - Coast (Land/minerals) - RV (Maa - land, Turkana oil) - and Nairobi metro- those are areas where there is real wealth/opportunities going forward.

On side you are correct, but knowing Ruto very well. I believe he will elevate Hassan even though he is not a political heavy weight just to reward him for his stand from start with him , Mvurya for sure will get something but not CS, Maybe Aisha or Hassan.

Ruto promise to coast 1) Two million settlement squattors - 1 million for mijikenda - a million for investors (Ruto & friends) 2) KPA will be given to them - Ruto will allow Kingi to nominate MD for Bandari. Then Ruto will go for Johos/Mois/Mohammed monopolies on port business.

In 2027 - COAST will be back to where it started - with RV in a strong coalition. Kalenjin/RV and Mijikenda were in same coalition from 1950s until 2002 when Raila led a rebellion and took them to LDP/ODM. Ruto has been keen to re-establish those contacts. As was before - coast and rv - land is big deal.
