News dropping slowly by slowly. After Ruto is sworn in you will hear jaw-dropping news, especially the failed kidnap of the Chebukati by men from Statehouse minutes after they had be paid wholesomely. A lot of people will be dying the next few weeks to months. Thanks to incorruptible Chebukati and Ruto's efficiency and effectiveness. If Ruto wasn't tough, his win would have been taken just like that. Supreme court has enough evidence to rule in Ruto's favor, but I think they will be threatened and forced to nullify election. The great thing is Ruto will win either way in the end and will severely deal with merchants of impunity mercilessly.

How was Chebukati able to escape this kidnap attempt? who helped him? I also thought noor gubow saved the situation at bomas or was it otherwise?  This is very, very, dangerous what uhuru is doing.  I think ruto is being very measured. He is the president and he can't act like these guys. He has to be more responsible and hold the country together.

It's very simple.I wasn't there but I believe this was the case.

There were two security groupings at Bomas.

1) Police AP GSU who were protecting iebc officials and office of the president group.

2) Ruto's Guards which numbered around 60 and mostly kalenjin.

These two groups were armed with serious weapons and no right thinking officer would have dared use a fire arm otherwise it would have been blood bath.
