it seems like this may be the first by election due to criminality of the winner. Dismus lost his cool and killed this kid. he should be hanged for it or at least serve over 20 years for manslaughter and other crimes

I hope the murderer gets no bail. Killing a man in front of several witnesses and getting bail is a big joke.
I pray he gets life sentence and never to see freedom again in his life.

he just made bail 10 million and 5 million surety..he will delay the case for years now and get away with it

Judiciary need fixing.
Trial should take 3 months.
Appeal 3 months.
But this case likely to go on forever.

Giving bail in slow case is almost letting someone walk free.

Bail would only work if trial was starting next week.

Maybe some of it need to be devolved.
Kiambu county judges can deal with small petty cases.
That way murder and such cases are dealt with Nairobi.

it is still devolved in a sense. lack of proper supervision and intelligence review of judges is what makes this impunity hard to deal with

the kenyan society had embraced corruption do it is hard to stump it out..everyone participates in corruption by coercion or willingly
