Hustler's narrative and Bottom-up are way more robust this time around. Kalonzo and team Azimio will be lucky to get 80% this time around in Ukambani. Ruto ONLY needs 10%-15% of Kamba votes to take it home early. Mvurya and Amason Kingi are taking away Azimio votes in Coast in large numbers; Mudavadi and Wetangula (Former NASA kingpins in western) are bringing additional million votes. That is the point. In Uhuru's 2013 and 2017 bouts, Jubilee could not muster 2-3% in Ukambani. Kalonzo had the usual 97-98% under lock and Key. Ruto getting 15-20% is a very big deal. That is enough to sink ODOMOS! If he manages to climb past 30%, watu watalia na kushuta kimataifa!

I agree there is no "wave" anywhere outside RV and Nyanza. Ruto is at 25-30 Ukambani by most polls. Raila is at 25-30 in Gema. Overall same polls give Raila 4% lead over Ruto.
