Who are suffering? Lazy people suffer anywhere in the world. Here in the US, job prospects and prosperity is as high as it has ever been. In fact the fears of economy flatlining is mostly around not finding employees to work, not so much inflation. If you start a business now, or have existing business, the number one worry is finding people to work, not credit, customers, or anything else. Labor market is very tight to a point where it is threatening economy itself! Labor market is only tight when economy is booming! It is economics 101!

There are alot of poor folks right here in the Bay Area and California. Cab drivers, waiters, cleaners, farm workers - suffer from higher prices. I don't need to be poor to empathize with them.

Employment rate in the bay area is at 2.5, meaning there are thousands of high paying jobs available. These cleaners and cab drivers can transition to high paying jobs if they want. US job market is better than it has ever been in history!

Central bank have may numbers , only missing June numbers. The numbers are way elevated than 2021 numbers.

Compare Feb with March, March with April , April with May you will get the traction.
Ofcourse if you compare with Covid times you will think you are doing fine . Same way Kenya says economy grew by 6.8 % First quarter of 2022 where as Kenya was on bad lockeown last year a Lockdown which used closed all major counties and a curfew from 1800Hrs. Lets be serious for a moment .
