The East Rift that Munya was targetting for political gains - nothing much.

My parent factory - Kapset/rorok saw 150% percent increment - Njamba Kangaita just 30%.

Munya and Uhuru intended to use the Tea Bonus for politics (that is why they were released this early - instead of october) but it appears their target in Mt kenya is dead. Gusii region saw the biggest increment.

This are factory profits being shared by the coop farmers who own it. Some factories enjoy very good economics;
1. Good volumes,
2. Good quality green leaf (raw material)
3. Good quality roasted tea that fetches good prices
4. Low operating costs (staff and energy)
5. And above all good non-corrupt management (farmers elect factory board members)
That why the spread in bonus

A gimmick of highest order of deciet. Tea prices remain depressed may be the increase is due to  shilling depreciation

This is pure manipulated numbers.. They were trying to fix auction prices by setting Tea price. What I want to see is the volumes sold and volumes available for sale, adjustment for drought and other factors such as FX. These morons are just lying to uneducated farmers, I hate this kind of propaganda, it is very harmful to farmers

Na utaskia someone saying Kipsigis are not hardworking :) . This is actual about half the revenue in South Rift because there are so many private factories and multinationals that buy smallholder tea.
