In few days, Kabogo and the rest will tore the line because they know GEMA is majority UDA, and the remaining few are Azimio. Tujibebe and small parties have nowhere to hide. If I were them, I would join Azimio, instead of getting humiliated by UDA on election night! If they join Azimio, Uhuru will probably pay them kitu kidogo now. After election with Ruto at State house and Gachagua DO as the DP, they will have nowhere to stand!

It's NOT about the time. Martha has been a politician since 1992 and she has no traction.

IT about being greatest defender of community interest - in this case Kikuyu or GEMA interest. It's about epic community defining events that make people realize you're a leader and they entrust leadership on you.

Uhuru was hopeless until 2007 PEV when he led Kikuyu fightback as Kibaki police and security agencies failed the people..
Him being charged by ICC for the same - made him a community hero.
He is a rich kid who didnt have to play dirty with Mungiki - but for the love of GEMA nation - he put his money and energy on the line - not only to revenge/counter-attacks but also to finance IDPS. That made him a community hero.

Now move on 5yrs later - Uhuru becomes the enemy of the community - by pursuing personal interest against community interest.
Communnity interest - was that Raila as an enemy who had been vanquished and peace deal with Kalenjin was for community interest.
Instead of listening - Uhuru goes on angry and violent tirade - throwing any opposition to his handshake to jail or streets - trying to bankrupt or fire anybody opposed to it.

He sooned part ways with GEMA community - and the heroes of that war against Uhuru and his elit none has been general like Gachagua.

Maybe he not fully decorated - he is just going for DPORK - but he will soon be a four star general - because once he assume office and knowing Ruto is regimental - he will tell GEMA to go through Gachagua.
Except maybe for 10 guys that he personal trust - wakina Nyoro, Ichungwa, Kuria, Wahome, Kindiki - might be excepted from seeing Gachagua.

Gachagua will have it hard winning Kiambu Kikuyu and diaspora Kikuyu,you can't force yourself to be liked,not even supporting Ruto can make people like him this is a personal issue,Pundit hitter you cant in extension because you don't have a problem with Gachagua assume now that by default he will be liked,I agree with Githunguri Gachagua has to work hard and win GEMA support not easy but he can work on it,Ukweli like I said Ruto direct support in mlima is what is keeping UDA ahead gachagua brings 0 votes to UDA that they didn't already and because Kiambu Kikuyu are proud they won't praise someone they think ia an uncouth person.

Gachagua job was to keep Uhuru in statehouse smoking and drinking. The rest are easy to deal with it. Ruto biggest threat in GEMA is Uhuru. Not small time two bit sized politician like Kabogo or Munya.

Gachagua is not likeable - but this is war - and you need such guys. After war is won - you can bring the kindikis to smile.

He was brought by Kiambu and Mt kenya by his ears to Ruto. Ruto didnt have to sign anything with him. But for Kuria - he is very lethal propaganda wise - so Ruto went to Dubai and signed something with him.

Ruto will bend over to listen to kuria demands but Kabogo can go jumping - he overrates himself.
