Bungoma and Tranzoia is gone - I am going with 70-85 percent gone - because of residual kalenjin plus Bukusu.

These pictures tell me that kenyans have too much free time and no jobs. They are pinning all hopes on a government to literally hand them jobs on a silver platter. Most will be disappointed because that is not the role of government. Unfortunately, they don't get it.

US people are busy but they attend rallies. One day event is not a biggie. In fact for most people in rural kenya - this their chance to get out of the village - and have something to talk about. In my place - they get into boda bodas - 3 or 4 - to go and see - listen to famous politicians. Most of these people dont have TVs or Internet like rest of us to watch events live. Such a big rally happen maybe once a year or every 5yrs. They leave whatever they are doing that day - to participate in a democratic process that involved listening to leaders and other people.

People should ACTIVELY participate in democracy - not only in election but through out the entire process.

Kibaki hands off hiding in state house is not leadership. The same with Uhuru. Leadership is what Moi was able to do in 25yrs - be with the people - listening to them - address their issues.

With Ruto - we will have leadership that is hands on. People can say ohoo Moi didnt do this or that - but compared to who? Who in the entire region of East and Central Africa - came near Kenya during Moi era - NOBODY.

Kibaki hid in statehouse - didnt even realize people were so angry - he woke up to find the entire country burning and near lost to civil war. Uhuru ndio huyo five years - not even meeting MPS - hid in statehouse - now is afraid to get out or even hold national celebration - because if he gets out now - people will ask him - where have you been?

You make good points pundit and I will accept them so then, my next point, what seems to be happening has been a total repudiation of uhuru kenyatta's economic policies that have driven the majority into poverty and if this is case, then it's a good thing for the country cause it signifies a withdrawal from the totally tribal politics of kenya and a new politics where the economy is going to become the primary issue.  The young kenyan voter has finally awoken.
