At Last! The Chance to Test Ole Lenku's Qualifications in Public
« on: November 04, 2014, 06:30:53 PM »
I am looking forward to this case. I hope Ole Lenku will go ahead and sue Ahmednasir and allow the matter to go to an open court. The issues he is complaining of being maligned are of interest. For example, Is Ole Lenju qualified to be a cabinet minister? Has he disobeyed any court orders?

Quote
Lenku says the tweets shows he does not respect the rule of law, court orders, engages in racial discrimination is a land grabber, misusing police for personal gain and is unqualified in his position.

Why do you want to destroy a perfectly good show? I am looking forward to it. Have you heard of McLibel? Macdonalds regretted ever starting that case. The rule is that you don't start a case if you have a lot to hide. In History, we have Oscar Wilde going after the father of his lover and getting matters backfire on him. He ended up in prison convicted of sodomy.

Lenku through lawyer Donald Kipkorir, also lodged a criminal complaint against Abdullahi with recommendations that he be arrested and charged for misuse of social media.

Kuna charge kama hio kwa laws of Kenya ?

The tweets added: This is what happens when a doorman in a 2 star hotel becomes in (sic) Cabinet Secretary in charge of his nations security.

Ole lenku was not the doorman at Utali hotel, he was the chief mandazi baker

it is quite telling that ole Lenku is not seeking to sue him for slander but rather for misuse of social media.  The hotel manager does not eat grass.

It is some of the proof that the so called "Digital" government is but a lie. At the core of the Jubilee government are people who are as suspicious and against modern technology as Moi and MaDVD (who refused to licence mobile phones for "security reasons"). The first Maasai to run Internal Security - Justus Ole Tipis - had some American NGO personnel arrested and deported for possessing mobile phones. It didn't help that they protested that there was no network to use in Kenya and that they were personal possessions which they would need once out of the country! Imagine being deported for the offense of possessing a mobile phone in a country with no network!
