Yea, mad beats.

Eminem's old hit still holds the cup on Wes' Cos' hip-hop + rap mashup

🎤🎶🔈🎤🔥💯 maad

Nowadays, everybody wanna talk like they got something to say
But nothing comes out when they move their lips
Just a bunch of gibberish
And motherfuckers act like they forgot about Dre

Just like some people here on Nipate..  :) :D

Classic banger from Dre's 1999 album *2001*! I actually bought that CD!
One of my favourite tracks from that album..

Cali memories as always. I can't believe a whopping 26 years has passed since then😬. Time ..

The background melodies on these two songs spark up so much nostalgia. Dick Clarke (RIP) was right. "Music 🎵 is the soundtrack to our lives."

Dre... the decibels are a conduit into his soul. You "experience" the drum-beats.

Nostalgia! Furahiday throwback by Nonini himself. Speaking of live performances, I once got on stage for Karaoke at Pots and Palms (anyone remember that joint on Riverside drive? Sadly they closed years back!) and did Usher's Confessions part 2. And won!

Rich Boy's cruising beats. Dirty hip-hop. Awesome.

I know! It doens't just emanate from the lips, tongue, vocal cords, the lungs nor the gut. But from his wholesomeness.

Cape Town memories! Camps Bay summertime manenos. Nights out with those fine ass Azanian chicks! Kwiinyans think they party hard but truth be told, Nobody parties as hard as our South African brothers and sisters do, man. Ujana kweli ni moshi.  ISAPITE!!

Aibo.  I love the steady rythm.  Anything with Dr. Malinga and Oskido is poison :) .

Kwiinyans think they know how to party? Waapi?  Eish, Noooooooooo, man :D .

Abridged version of a 72 HOURS NONSTOP party in S.A.!!

Mzansi love a good party(even though their fine gels are cartoonishly materialist).  Ugandans are quite something just in terms of pure energy and obsession with style  :D.  Kenyans, we are not as good at producing the music, but our DJs are usually unrivaled at mixing it.

Hehehe @ cartoonishly materialist. These days these young gels, these gels thes gels have all gone that route ritru bit, ritru bit.

Gone are the days of romance and trying to get to know someone. Swipe left/right generation just racks up body counts, gets the bag and keeps it moving.

By the time they are 25, these gels, these gels, these gels  I  tells ya have chewed hundreds if not thousands of guys in Airbnb's. Isapitty.

Good mix. Puts one into serious chill out mode.

When ballads were ballads!

Who remembers Carni slow dance time as the revving for the night reached a close (around 3-4am) and the DJs wound things down? Those who didn't have anyone to dance with had to console themselves with the heat of the bonfire outside!!!

Those were the days, my friends.
