Ruto aced nomination and running mate without a scratch.
It's surreal
It laibon type of genius - for kalenjin .
But it comes down to his character - despite his ujanja - Ruto still remain the guy you'd rather deal with.
People trust Ruto. Kalenjin leaders and people have come to trust him because he is dependable.  If he fails - he tried.

Most Kalenjin, Somalis and Maasai have that honour system - that your word should count for something. Some of the land I buy - we just write on a exercise book.  Somalis do crazy transaction based entirely on their honour system...they can send another somali with 10 million and it get delivered. Long rumbling nonesense,you beat me to a thread I wanted to post on how "Ruto almost bungled  an election," by mismanaging his dp choice process.
Ruto for the first has showed he is also likely to make miscalculations, its now clear Gaachagua was Rutos choice from the beginning, he tried to use different methods just to legitimise this by keeping his followers in endless goose chases,of which all Kindiki won,this has exposed him badly you can tell from Rutos demeanor that he is a shaken man ,he hasnt recovered from this error that almost ruined UDA. He still needs to explain how he oversaw that bungled process and go against the majority,this would have been a very simple process if he had directly nominated gachagua

Njuri if kindiki is not complaining, tharaka governor I saw is okay, not heard single leader from Mt Kenya east complain, that tell you Ruto has lots of goodwill to use..lots of bonga points.Yours is like Alfred keter mess..95 percent score for Ruto.Azimio on opposite end lost kambas n kalonzo..that is terrible.And munya bid amounted to nothing..so merus tulieni..this is a big war..next time it will be you.

The problem i think Ruto wanted to show a democratic process then he got funny ideas they could take Kindiki this is a gamble when you do this take someone who has 0 clout,Ruto errored big, when it became clear his mole hill had grown into a mountain he started sweating,calling sijui330 people mara voting of which Kindiki won, ruto should have simply told everyone its gachagua,he made gachagua look bad when now we know gachagua was innocent since he was already promised the position so much so he had a written speech for over 1 month and practising it on his family and close friends audiebce
At the end Ruto almost destroyed gachagua and kindiki 2 innocent people with his overthinking,Ruto needs take even 1 week break to rest too.

People practise but on last day the coach names the best 11 players. You cannot say your wasting time practising because you didnt make the best 11. Not unless you dont trust the coach like Azimio crew who have a deficit there.

So Ruto has aced running mate challenge - it wasnt going to be easy - many people wanted it - obviously it makes them one heartbeat away from PORK - in case anything happen to PORK.

Now it's just finishing strong.
