Sakaja pick Igathe for Deputy Governor

James Njoroge Muchiri  - COO of Barclays Bank.
Igathe - COO of Equity Bank

I am not sure how this works...seem they played to Uhuru hands.

I would have preferred a GEMA ruffian like Moses Kuria

Kenya Kwanza Alliance Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Johnson Sakaja has tapped Absa Bank Kenya Ltd Chief Operating Officer James Njoroge Muchiri to deputise him, ahead of the May 16 deadline for naming running mates.

Oh my!James Muchiri Njoroge was my classmate. Had no idea he became a banker ....  being my classmate, you now know he is older than Sakaja.
You are right, he is NOT a ruffian. In our class he was the quintessential gentleman. And that is how the gals treated him, but he wasn't a womanizer.

In different circumstances, my vote would be assured to the fellow we had so much in common. But it just so happens my vote won't go to anything WSR has touched.

I do not think he can be worse than Polycarp Igathe. Am not sure even to wish them luck as I cannot stand the head of their party.

"I don't really know this Njoroge man but boss akisema ni yeye running mate basi ni hivo. I accept"

This election is turning out to one of kind whichever the side of the divide you are.

The Muranga fellows believe Nairobi is theirs. They will now have to pick between real Muranga aka Polycarp or half Muranga aka James Njoroge. Wish them the best.

To root out ufool's heist vehicle -NMS- will require a willing president and ruffians.

Sakaja atawezana na MCAs?

I hope they unlock  financing model for water and sewers; mass housing, schools, even pavements.

Ideally NMS - should truly be NMS - covering Kiambu, Machakos and Kajiado - and think about big things like Metro line.
No paving walkways.
So I would keep NMS but making it a ministry...to deal with Nairobi Metro - and Mombasa metro - something like Urban ministry.

MCAs in Nairobi will always be the weakest link who will intimidate the governor.
