The framers are an ignorant bunch, as far as today's conditions go. I would include Americans' reverence for these folks . . .
I've always noted how 'religious' that attitude is. Where Catholics might reference Early Church fathers and dead saints, and Muslims their sages, Americans reference their founding fathers
Only problem is it's not supposed to be a religion, but a state. Their constitution, too. It's like some type of secular, inerrant Bible/Quran if you hear some people talk. I find it kinda funny but very strange.
PS: This gun issue. I don't think I've met people who are not Americans who DON'T find this whole debate bizarre. Like, they won't even allow background checks? Absolutely insane!
