Pundit you are ever morphing and changing like a chameleon. Now you have dumped Infrastructure and your new latch is productivity. Ndii is feeding you his propaganda. You are suckling it like a new calf.

I was never for infrastructure as end goal guy - but I believe BASIC infrastructure is a must. I would be damned if Ndii think basic infrastructure is a luxry. I get his economy versus development dichotomy.

Use the search function. I am still the basic infrastructure is a must guy. I dont think you can create any modern economy without foundation - which basic infrastructure - I am talking roads, railways, ports, electricity, piped water and such.

For example now that we have built Lamu port - it easy to build Shenzen or Dubai like free port+special economic zone - this now when productivity kicks in - and a million manufacturing jobs are created.

Secondary infrastructure like Isiolo AirPort - that is now doubtful ROI - but SGR is solid investment. Isiolo airport is lying idle 10yrs later. It possible to make miraa and horticulture to grow around it like Eldoret - but it takes time. So secondary infrastructure we should only embark on them if there numbers are good.

Liar! You record here is clear don't run a way from it, you were infrastructure cargo cultists damu, inshas all day about how infra will magically grow the economy, how debts don't matter. Ulimwengu umekufunza Now you extoll the virtues of fiscal rectitude and productivity  :D

Mediocrity is our global product and poverty is our supply chain.

I guess this discussion is the age old discussion on how Africans can get themselves out of poverty.

Building houses for who? when most will be unable to pay the rent? unless you want to do like Singapore where you provide free, public housing.

Ndii now says contrary to popular belief, Africa is resource poor on a per capita basis (second only to Asia) (not sure what he means by that) but he is making this argument: "They come because our resources are lootable, not because they are abundant. Russia has more minerals than DRC. DRC's are lootable. Russia's are not"

Without resources, without manufacturing, with low IQ's they really is no hope for the 17 million hustlers besides immigration.

💯 we are not that rich as people imagine. Kenya, somali, Ethiopia those are 3 dirt poor countries with people who are giving birth like the pope has made an order.

North America alone has some a lot oil and gas. Canada is the single biggest supplier of oil to usa. Russia is awash with resources especially those of fossil fuel nature
