I wouldn't say "I stand with Putin." But I'd definitely say, I'm not jumping just because the West says jump. I'm educating myself and learning wth is going on first, not just taking their word.

Btw, that clip of Mandela twitted there is FIRE!   I went looking for the youtube vid to see if there was more;

Never seen it, just know the one where he was questioned about supporting Palestinian "terrorists" and he fired back at the interviewer that a common mistake Westerners make is to assume their enemies must be ours as well. I bet if Madiba were alive and saying the things on that clip here, some Nipateans would be lecturing him about being a tankie just for not walking behind the latest gun march ordered by the West!

Anyway, Madiba had obviously educated himself well on American atrocities. Anyone interested without bothering with books should just start listening to Noam Chomsky. Ukrainians taxis are refusing to take cash they want dollars and the only way to get dollars by having crypto wallets l. I am in a group raising funds to get students and africans stuck there out and they are having to deposit the payments to crypto wallets.

Actually it's the opposite. USSR and the commies supported the anti-apartheid movement in general.  The US used the Boers as a buffer against the commies. After the end of apartheid, Madiba sided with the capitalists and became a darling of the West.

That's right. On many issues contested on the global stage/UN, Communists generally allied with third world interests, despite the non-aligned strategies of individual countries. Third world countries gave China its place in the Security Council. It makes sense when you consider Communist ideology about class, actually.

Anyway, I don't think Madiba was ever a Communist, though I'd be open to being proven wrong. Certainly he didn't implement Communism in SA. I don't know why Plato mixes up anti-imperialism with communism. I do know Lenin's Marx follow-up book/thesis did show that imperialism was the natural development of late-stage Capitalism, and uncannily predicted it's unfolding in the 20th century. (Imperialism: The Last Stage of Capitalism, I believe it's called). So I understand why it's natural for many people to think anti-imperialism is communism. However, they are two very distinct things and I repeat I don't think Madiba was ever a Communist.
