But what is his gameplan? He surely knows that? I know he loathe to bow down to Ruto - and being a Kalenjin man - and of Moi's pedigree - it's even more difficult for someone like him - to bow down to Ruto. But surely he knows it.

I think at some point he will negotiate with Ruto or quit politics.

KANU is not even pretending to campaign anywhere this time round.

I think someone will just have to literally hold his shoulders and make him kneel before Ruto.

Meanwhile Uhuru wants Ruto to bow down to him :)

Ruto being a Kalenjin man has refused.

That is all I see now - ego fights - Ruto is telling them I am richer than you now and have the ground game - and they are saying we have the gov and can make life difficult for you.

Luhya revolted against Mdvd before in 2002 and 2013. For way lesser blunders- at least in 2002 he went for VP - 2013 he went for PORK - na akachapwa hadharani. This time he is going for Ruto Finance Minister :o

Who needs an opinion poll when HALF the MPs have DEFECTED. Don't tell Pundit.

Mdvd is well known bimbo - he blundered just like 2002, 2013. Why would a longterm Vihiga MP/senator Khaniri run to Azimio yet he is going for governor? Either he is suicidal or obviously Ruto is unsellable in Vihiga.

Mps were bought to defect
It didnt not come from grassroot.
Uhuru bought mps to defect
But as we approach - they have comeback.
Gideon-Atwoli bought a few MPs but now the ground is too hot for them.
It's easy to know if ground is hostile or not.
You dont use one indicator...but they are many.

Well any Raila or Ruto spin doctor can say anything  - "ground is hot" bla bla. Are you saying Khaniri, Savula, Nabulindo, Oku Kaunya, etc have defected back to ANC? Link please.

In short you have no evidence of anyoone re-joining ANC from Azimio. "MPs were bought" is just usual fitina - Ruto vs Raila is a no-brainer in Luhya hence the revolt against Mdvd & Weta.

Yaani a place like Trans Nzoia with significant Nandi headcount - everyone still dumps Ford-K for Azimio. Governor Khaemba, Senator Mbito, Woman Rep Janet Nangabo - yote iko Azimio. These are county-wide seats... if wishes were horses these lot should be happily in Ford-K or UDA especially after earthquake.
