Will read this later am now in Kericho then Kisumu, after that Moyale will be a tough week for me. If you In Kericho come at the tea hotel we take my favorite The Botanist Islay Dry Gin, its
normally bought exclusively for me when I book there. Furthermore I will introduce you to one of the managers a superb kipsigis lady. But this hotel needs a total renovation its losing its touch.

That Mzungu knows Kenya siasa even better than Me; Now that is something; You should read his books. I am eagerly waiting for his prediction. Last time he nailed it at 54 percent versus 45 - and it was exact.

As for Merus - DPORK is attainable - and a SULUHU SAMIA can happen.

But first you need to cut lose Kikuyus post 2022 and build a meru identity. Otherwise it will always be GEMA=Kikuyu +.

Right now is best time for new GEMA leader to emerge in 5-10yrs - Munya has bet on the wrong horse.

Njuri btw why has Maoka Maore survived that long. I remember reading and I was suprised - that little brown man must be the only educated Merians in those sides of upper meru.

He survived because he went totally local. He has brought security to that extreme part of Meru/igembe built several GSU police posts, locals armed and made infrastructure roads,Iyo tu ndio siri yake so north Igembe is no longer vulnerable like Tigania from Samburu,Borana,Somali and Turkana attacks they give igembe a wide berth.
Maoke is not afraid of confronting  wariah warmongers in public too

Yeah he is always been a militant dwarf like late GG kariuki of Laikipia. He certainly must mean a lot to his people to be elected this many generations. His stubbornness and hard headiness though has prevented him from working for gov as minister. He might oppose the same gov in the afternoon.

Maoka is reputed to have read a team of about 30 Laingos and Nthaka to recover stolen livestock in Isiolo years back to the vaporization of several bandits from Isiolo.
Maore is also very development oriented however stubborn and difficult his people have greatly benefited from hi working with gatheca.
