Tables have turned. Njee Muturi will need to shift operation to parliament - and open the purse - for every motion to pass.

Budget kwanza wataona moto.

If Kalonzo was smart - this would be the time to press Raila and Uhuru hard - you dont negotiate by being nice - you have to play rough.

For kalonzo to pray rough - he simply need to threaten to join Ruto team - unless they make him their candidate.

He should let his allies been seen with Ruto team - and Uhuru-Raila will drop everything they have and rush to Tseikuru with a deal.

They know their potential breathing space is just Ukambani - everywhere else ni kubaya.

Your double standards and hypocrisy reeks!
Why havent you included Raila, Babu Owino, Uhuru, and all the bad leaders in Azimio:)
Parliamentary system cannot fix leadership - the same crew in parliament will elect Sonko.
Mayors were worse than governors.
In fact presidential system is better because it very hard to bribe millions of voters.
Leadership come from the people.
You need to focus on improving leadership in all levels - over the time.
Right from quality of DIP chairman or ECD chairlady - I remember during my childhood my mum was elected chair because rest of women were basically illiterates.
That will slowly permeate through the society in sustainable way.
Europe and rest of developed world have over the years improve their leadership..

Uhuru needs the budget to pass very badly. It will safeguard the KQs and ensure his "legacy Projects" which are for sure Generational Family projects are funded for completion before he leaves power.
Reason he had to meet Ford K and ANC Mps . I believe funds have changed hands.

Yes you can bet some statehouse prefects like Njee Muturi will be relocating to parliament to bribe Mps enmass because his numbers are now very shaky. ODM 60mps and Jubilee remaining 20mps are now the minority. Kalonzo is free agent.

I expect Mps to use the budget for their own popularity - so KQs and such deals wont see the light - only a foolish politician will defend Uhuru and gov failures.

In any case he should replace the Borana ASAP - as he is going to run for Marsabit governorship and new minister should table the budget making asap - and then parliament can be dissolved.

One thing Uhuru cannot allow Mps to do is to touch KQ . Surviaval of KQ means survival of the "leasing companies"
Uhuru has tried several options so as KQ remains afloat. From Nationalization(Fear of a new Govt made him rethink that ), Merger with South African Airlines  and the one he thinks will work state financial boost now pegged on the budget.
Mps are looking for money to fund their campaigns and seems they have an avenue. Quick money that is not the one pegged on budget or bills.

Sioni. Unless he talks to Ruto to go slow on making it a public issue. Once it's made a public outcry - then he will recoil. Already UDA crew have indicated they will slash the national budget and give counties 35 percent. That is going to be hard to fight from BBI crew - who are going round - saying BBI promised it.

Azimio crew are using that 35 percent as sweetner - so Ruto crew will grant their wish - Uhuru knew BBI was unimplementable - because 35 percent will slash national budget completely.

Uhuru has screwed himself up - so 2022 budget is gone - debt ceiling cannot be raised

Politicians will demand very huge bribes - to be seen to be against people - and if it's made an issue - and we are a month to nomination - NOBODY will touch it.

I expect once UDA-ANC-FORD alliance gel as ECONOMIC ISSUES FRONT - they will want to nail such issues - and expect acrimonious debate of the budget, taxes and related - with populist amendments.

Borana is lucky to be out of office - Kimunya will have to sweat it alone.

As for the Borana Matiangis, Wamalwa ,That Maasai, Kibicho , Munya etc, They are between a rock and a hard place.
Already a judge has they have to resign by Feb. They migh try to derail the judgement using Court Process . But their goose is cooked. They will know power is  a Mirrage . It evaporates like Ether.
Last minute looting will be worse than during Mois last days.
UDA Mps should start making noise to detter them and they need to do it in away no to boost the looters popularity.

Yes the day they resign and hand over GKs - they become powerless. That is their biggest dillema. Matiangi has decide to eat for the next six months after his political expirement backfired in the by-election in Gusii with his candidate coming 3rd. He has conceded Gusii politics COMPLETELY to ODM. It's epic failure for the test tube politician. Kibicho will keep his job.

I think Wamalwa will also keep his job - he is not going for any seat - he will flout the law and campaign for his DAP party while being minister.

Munya, Borana, Munyes and Keter are going for governorship so they will resign. The Macharia, Kariukis and Tobiko are not resigning - they know the ground is hard - and their power emanate from their jobs - like wamalwa they will flout the katiba and campaign for Uhuru projects.

Entire crew called CAS - illegal - will resign enmasse - and go back to politics - they are failed politicians.

I think we shall see about 1/3 of CS resigning - but rest will wait for their fate with Uhuru - all of them will be fired by the next gov :)
