Very likely unless Gatheca really comes out and fight hard - my 53 percent assumes 65 percent support for Ruto in GEMA outside Embu and Tharaka. If Ruto does 70 - he goes to 54 percent - 75 - 55 - he goes to 80 percent he goes to 56 percent. Ruto may also improve in western and other regions - so yes 57 looks doable!

Yes for now - Ruto should laser focus on two regions - GEMA and Luhyaland - he needs to defend GEMA from a frontal attack from uhuru - they cannot be mistake - Kalenjin apart from ME (SIPANGWINGWI) should zip up. The Luos have been impressive - behaving really well - as Baba tries to shed his snake skin.

Go defence in GEMA - go offensive on Luhyaland.  In GEMA - apart from Meru - Munya is a fighter and has done well in kilimo - I think Uhuru is lost cause outside Kikuyu region - and once Gachagua is made DPORK - he will forget about Nyeri & related - and can only compete in Kiambu, Muranga and maybe Nyandarua. Muranga is going to be toughest if Baba make PK DPORK and Alice Wahome misses out.

That is assuming Uhuru will want to go to the wire - wasting his billions and his legacy.
