They are dealing with conmen - who will make any allegation for an opportunity to be "protected" and flown to Europe. The make ridiciolous statements that foreign investigations who don't know enough about kenya swallow hook, line and sinker.
Next they claim after thay made those statements their lives are in danger and they need to be relocated with their families to Europe.
While safely in Europe - they decline to cooperate on the trial d-day afraid to lie under oath and get ripped apart by defence lawyers. Now how can someone abroad in some safe house be unsafe?
They should have done independent investigation especially on the character of their witness. Perhaps involve local lawyers to help them navigate kenya systems.
They would have discovered that 99 percent of them were conmen who had joined PNU for money in 2007 - and were later bought by PNU (Martha - Kuria - likes) to implicate Ruto.
