Its transmits easily but it is not a DELTA.
Yes it evades vaccines, but vaccines are not meant to stop any current COVId variant, rather stop progression of severe disease .

Scientists have mentioned several times, Omicron was first discovered by South African scientists. No serious scientist says it originated from South Africa. Of late samples in Europe have shown the mutation has been in existant for several months in Europe.
The world should thank South Africa for the good job done and not block its borders to the country as is the case for now.

SA was the first to detect it. It mat have come from anywhere.
All I hear its milder than Delta for the jabbed.
Its also been affecting toddlers
