Kenya security force seems a big joke

After two GSU...half naked bandits now kill two KDFS and destroy their equipment

And this force that Gatheca is depending on - while fomenting war - then like Ethiopia will cry everyone hates us - UN/US/Egypt

The incident comes barely two weeks after three other security officers were attacked and killed by bandits at the vast conservancy. Two others sustained serious gunshot wounds

GSU and Police are actually far better than KDF. I have always said like Museveni Kdf is a career army. Look at somalia el adde kobilyo etc. Recently Manda fleeing after hearing explotions and hiding in bushes.
In all Kenya has the poorest trained and motivated security forces i know off. Laikipia is an indication that Kenya one crumble in a minute. Now serious human rights atrocities face the innocent there.

It's not good when last resort - KDF - seem unable to handle half-naked bandits. This send very wrong signals. So far they havent managed to arrest any bandit or recover any cattle.

It appear entire security agencies are busy spying and following Ruto around. They cannot go hard on pokots because Gideon Moi has some little support in Tiaty.

They better send a very strong signal that killing KDF soldier will invite serious consequences - they need to deploy 2,000 troops to comb the entire baringo south and laikipia - on foot - until all the bandits have been routed out.

But they are more interested in running KEMSA, KMS, Immigration and Nairobi City. This Gatheca will finish off kenya.

I think its only vooke that has faith in kdf. Ldf history is a contribution to its weaknes,i.e vookes granddad was inspector first class of the luggage carrier corps in mzungu colonial army and so on....how do you expect vooke to fight bandits.
What is more worrying is that its a single bandit or 2 involved in the attacks then they disappear into bush.
Personally have dealt with bandits locals when armed offer more protection than security forces as they are conversant with terrain and have interests at stake   not someone from coast or nyanaza coming to laikipia for what.

Yes it better to arm police reservist...locals. kibaki did away with police reservists but they were very important in northern kenya. Njuri and likes should be given guns and police training....and allowed to defend their community.

KDF should come with big guns and send a strong signal - and go back to the barracks. But they are busy digging trenches to prevent cows from crossing...that is most stupid thing ever.

Kibaki actually armed the police reservists but down the line I don't know what happened as guns were taken back especially from Merus who were easy to trace and take back,other kabilas like turkqna,borana,samburu simply evaporated with the guns and this is a cause of why Meru north suffers from bandit attcaks as balance of power changed.
But generally its always a draw when bandit communities fight with no clear winner,again boarder communities are always the most hardened far than KDF. either we rearm or do a Museveni and take all guns forcefully from those communities
