If you check any IEBC case there will always be a low key Bukusu or Baluhya law firm put there....i bet every of 3 corrupt commissioners have their own law firms..

Legal fees is the new corruption game..

It used to be ICT project ...because it was new and you could quote anything.

The electoral agency is on the spot over double payments amounting to Sh2 billion for private legal services without the approval or prior concurrence of the Attorney- General as required by law.

Auditor-General Edward Ouko said the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) had a pending bill of Sh1 billion, but ended up paying Sh2.15 billion to 68 advocates.

Pundit, the overlooking of corruption at the IEBC is delibarate. Once Chebukati involves himself in corruption like the previous cases of IEBC commissioners lobbying for certain companies to get tenders with the commission, the better for the sitting government. The IEBC officials can then be blackmailed.
Look at a person like the last CEO Cheloba. Today he is retired. Is the man even mid 40's? His accounts must be bulging and chances of being taken to court almost zero.

Anyone remember Chickengate? :D :D :D

Yes I am sure NIS knows everything. They just keep them for use in the future intimidations. This legal fee thing though is very sophisticated because of client-confidentiality. How the money end up from lawyer to these guys - Kidero case has all the glues.
